Purgatory, Indulgences & Our Perfect Union with God
A Three-Part Adult Catechesis Series
What happens after death for those who die in God’s friendship but are not yet perfectly prepared for Heaven? What does the Catholic Church actually teach about purgatory? And what are indulgences, and how do they relate to God’s mercy and our prayers for the faithful departed?
Join Fr. Bob Voiland and Richard Hass for three evenings exploring these often misunderstood Catholic teachings through Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
Together, we’ll discover how purgatory reflects God’s perfect love and mercy, how indulgences draw upon the spiritual treasury of the Church, and how the Communion of Saints unites us in prayer and charity.
The ultimate goal is not simply to understand purgatory or indulgences, but to better understand God’s desire for our perfect union with Him.
There is no cost.
